Asian markets are down in the range of 3-5% each following continued bearish cues from the US markets.
The Hang Seng has plunged 5.3% (895 points) to 15,908. The Nikkei has slumped 4.5% (461 points) to 9,695.
The Taiwan Weighted index has crashed 3.5% (195 points) to 5,330. The Straits Times index has tumbled 4% (86 points) to 2,092, and the Seoul Composite index has shed 3% (40 points) at 1,326.
The Shanghai Composite index has dropped over 2% (46 points) to 2,112.
