Asian markets trade mix, Seoul Composite up

Asian markets dip in the morning session as investors stayed on the sidelines on Europe's debt concerns spreading despite a weekened agreement on Ireland bailout, weak overnight cues from Wall Street weighed

US markets ended lower, Dow Jones industrial average dropped 0.36%, to 11,052.49. The Standard & Poor's 500 Index  fell 0.14%, to 1,187.76. The Nasdaq Composite Index lost 0.37%, to 2,525.22.

Shanghai Composite fell 0.4%, Japan's Nikkei Stock Average was down 0.4%, Hong Kong's Heng Seng dipped 0.4%. Taiwan Weighted bucked trend, up 0.9%. Seoul Composite was up 1.2%, as investors closely watched the US-South Korea joint naval exercise which will terminate on Wednesday.
