Asian markets trade mixed

Asian markets are trading mixed on subdued cues from Wall Street. Also Japan's $61.3 billion stimulus program failed to cheer investors.

Profit booking in commodities as greenback reversed the downward spiral put pressure on the US bourses. The Dow Jones Industrial Average dipped 0.17 percent, to 10,948.58, the Standard & Poor's 500 Index eased 0.16 percent, to 1,158.06 and the Nasdaq Composite Index added 30.13 percent, to 2,383.67. Better than expected jobs-data limited declines but the street is awating non-farm payrolls report which be out today.

Government in Japan approved extra $61.3 billion in stimulus to bolster the fragile economy and contribute towards declining GDP. The Nikket Average shunned the positive news, the index has fallen 0.4% in early trades. Seoul Composite and Taiwan Weighted are trading lower by 0.5% and 0.4% each.

However, Shanghai Composite bucked trend, the index has risen 2.6% after a week long holiday. The Hang Seng index has also risen 0.6%.
