Asian markets weak, Nikkei down 2%

Asian markets were trading weak on Thursday on currency worries as yen continued to strengthen against the dollar.

The Nikkei was down over 2% (381 points) at 17,286, and the Hang Seng index was also down over 2% at 20,353.
