Asian markets weak on global cues

Asian markets have all slipped in early trades on weak cues from US markets.

The Hang Seng has slipped 326 points (1.5%) to 20,935. The Nikkei has shed 277 points (2.5%) at 10,935.

The Taiwan Weighted and the Straits times have dropped 1.3% each to 8,043 and 2,952, respectively. The Seoul Composite has slipped 21 points (1%) to 1,729.

However, the Shanghai Composite is down marginally at 2,896.
