Asian stocks surge to 2-year highs

Asian markets rallied in the early trades taking positive cues from the US that Fed would take further action to boost the flagging economy. Dow Jones Industrial Average ended up 0.4%, S&P 500 surged up 0.5 pct, and Nasdaq also ended up 0.4%.

Markets in Japan gave a thumbs up to the Tankan survey, Nikkei 225 has risen 0.33% to 9,555.27. The Bank of Japan’s quarterly Tankan survey of business sentiment released today showed that the index for manufacturers improved for a sixth consecutive quarter quarter, but companies were not optimistic going forward.

Even Hong Kong's index up 1.2% after positive data from China data, China's September Purchase Managers Index indicated an
upturm pulling the Shangai Composite up 0.6%.

Taiwan Weighted and Seoul Composite are trading higher 0.65 and 0.5% each.
