Avenue Supermarts hits fresh all-time high, gains 5% in two days

Shares of Avenue Supermarts, which owns and operates the DMart supermarket chain, hit an all-time high of Rs 2,020, up 2 per cent on the BSE on Thursday in an otherwise weak market.

The stock surpassed previous high of Rs 2,011 touched on October 31, 2019. It has gained 5 per cent in the past two trading days. In comparison, the S&P BSE Sensex was down 0.52 per cent, or 216 points, at 40,982 at 10: 52 am.
