Bajaj Auto gains 3% on Pulsar launch

Bajaj Auto advanced nearly 3% at Rs 960. The counter saw volume of 19,625 shares intra day.

Bajaj Auto gained over 3% at Rs 967, on the back of its launch of advanced version of the 220 Pulsar bike.

The stock touched a high of Rs 984 and a low of Rs 926. The counter has witnessed trades of  11,141 shares till now.

The country's second-largest two-wheeler maker, Bajaj Auto, yesterday launched an advanced version of its flagship bike Pulsar, priced at Rs 70,000 (ex-showroom, Delhi).    

For 2008-09, the total two-wheeler sales of the company plunged by 11.18 per cent at 19,19,582 units as against 21,61,095 units in the previous fiscal.
