More than 9.5 crore shares were traded on the BSE while only 2.2 lakh shares were traded on the NSE.

The counter moved up on good buying support on expectations of good November sales. The counter has seen its price edge up for the fifth continuous session.

The surge comes on expectations that the two-wheeler major would register strong bike sales for November.

Besides the anticipation of good November sales, buying in the stock is also attributed to reports that Bajaj Auto would start exporting motorcycles to the Philippines.
