Select grain prices fell by up to Rs 50 per quintal in the wholesale grains market today on slackened demand against adequate stocks.
Traders said adequate stocks available in the market against sluggish demand mainly pulled down select wholesale grain prices.
In the national capital, bajra fell by Rs 50 to Rs 980-990, while jowar yellow lost Rs 50 and white shed Rs 25 to Rs 925-995 and Rs 1,750-1,850 per quintal, respectively.
Barley also eased by Rs 30 to Rs 1,160-1,185 per quintal.
