Ballarpur Industries moves up after hiking the prices of its products by Rs 2,500-3,000 ($56.5-$67.8) a tonne. The stock is quoting at Rs 33, higher by 2.7% on the BSE.
The product prices have been increased as a result of the rising cost of pulp, a key raw material, globally.
Peer companies such as West Coast Paper Mills have also raised the prices of uncoated paper by Rs 2,500 a tonne.
