Bank scrips power rally, Sensex up 52 points

The Sensex is now up 52 points at 13,478.

ICICI Bank has gained nearly 3% (Rs 24) to Rs 881. SBI is up 2.6% (Rs  29) 1,155. HDFC Bank is ip 1.5% (Rs 15) at Rs 1,078.

Bharti has moved up nearly 2% (Rs 10) to Rs 580. Maruti is now up 1% (Rs 9) at Rs 915.

Grasim, Wipro and Ranbaxy are trading with gains of 1% each.

Declines continue to be ahead of advances - out of 2,539 scrips traded, 1,397 have declined and 1,059 have advanced.
