Most of the base metal prices declined at the non-ferrous metal market here today due to profit selling by stockists amidst lower advice at the London Metal Exchange (LME).
However, brass prices moved up on better demand from consumer industries.
Brass utensils scrap rose by Rs 4 per kg to Rs 256 from yesterday's closing level of Rs 252 and Brass sheet cutting also edged up Rs 2 per kg to Rs 263 from Rs 261.
Copper sheet cutting and Tin prices both declined by Rs 5 per kg each to Rs 348 and Rs 965, respectively, from yesterday's closing level of Rs 353 and Rs 970.
Copper cable scrap and copper wire bar moved down by Rs 3 per kg each to Rs 364 and Rs 392.
Copper scrap heavy, Copper Armiture and nickel eased by Rs 2 per kilo each to Rs 359, Rs 354 and Rs 1,155, respectively.
Copper utensils scrap and lead edged down by a rupee per kilo each to Rs 337 and Rs 106.
