Led by nickel, most of the base metals declined at the non-ferrous metal market here today on stockists offloading amidst bearish global cues. Nickel dropped sharply by Rs 50 per kilo to Rs 1,070 from its overnight closing level of Rs 1,120.
Tin fell by Rs 12 per kilo to Rs 950 from yesterday's closing level of Rs 962. Copper sheet cutting declined by Rs 7 per kilo to 344 from Rs 354, Copper armiture and Brass utensils scrap both moved down by Rs 5 per kilo each to Rs 349 and Rs 249.
Copper scrap heavy and Copper utensils scrap both quoted lower by Rs 4 per kilo each to Rs 355 and Rs 332. Copper cable scrap, copper wire bar and brass sheet cutting all edged down by Rs 3 per kilo each to Rs 360, Rs 388 and Rs 258, respectively.
Zinc and lead also eased by a rupee per kilo each to Rs 116 and Rs 105.
