Base metals end mixed

Tin, lead and copper scrap heavy moved up at the mixed non-ferrous metal market here today due to increased offtake from industrial users.

While, select copper and brass eased owing to lack of demand from consumer industries.

Tin firmed up further by Rs 5 per kilo to 1,085 from yesterday's closing level of Rs 1,080.

Lead and copper scrap heavy inched up by a rupee per kilo each to Rs Rs 111 and Rs 375 respectively.

However, Copper sheet cutting and brass sheet cutting both moved down by Rs 2 per kilo each to Rs 363 and Rs 364.

Copper armiture, copper utensils scrap and brass utensils scrap all softened by a rupee per kilo each to Rs 367, Rs 347 and Rs 257
