Most of the base metals recovered at the non-ferrous metal market here today on fresh stockists demand in line with global rebound.
A sharp recovery in base metals at London metal exchange over weakening dollar mainly boosted the domestic sentiment, traders said.
Meanwhile, brass prices eased on lower offtake from consumer industries.
Tin rose by Rs 15 per kilo to Rs 1,295 from yesterday's closing level of Rs 1,280 and Copper utensils scrap by Rs 6 per kilo to Rs 361 as against Rs 355.
Copper armiture firmed up by Rs 5 per kilo to Rs 379 from 374 previously. Copper cable scrap and copper wire bar both gained by Rs 4 per kilo each to Rs 397 and Rs 425.
Copper scrap heavy and copper sheet cutting moved up by Rs 3 per kilo each to Rs 389 and Rs 375. Zinc inched up a rupee per kilo to Rs 125.
However, brass utensils scrap edged down by Rs 2 per kilo Rs 266 and brass sheet cutting softened by a rupee per kilo to Rs 275.
