Most of the base metals recovered at the non-ferrous metal market here today on good industrial demand amidst positive trend in London metal exchange (LME).
Meanwhile, nickel prices declined on reduced offtake from industrial users. Tin prices bounced back by Rs 10 per kilo to Rs 945 from overnight closing level of Rs 935.
Zinc, aluminium ingots, copper sheet cuttings, copper armiture and copper scrap heavy all firmed up by Rs 3 per kilo each to Rs 108, Rs 112, Rs 348, Rs 351 and Rs 356, respectively.
Copper cable scrap, copper utensils scrap and copper wire bar moved up by Rs 2 per kilo each to Rs 361, Rs 333 and Rs 389.
Brass utensils scrap, brass sheet cuttings and aluminium utensils scrap inched up by a rupee per kilo each to Rs 251, Rs 261 and Rs 87. However, nickel dropped by Rs 10 per kilo to Rs 1,075 from Rs 1,085 yesterday.
