Bharti Airtel was trading higher by 3% at Rs 353 on the BSE after the company announced that it has entered into an alliance with Singapore Telecommunications Ltd (Singtel) to deliver high-speed, secure enterprise data network coverage in the Asia-Pacific, West Asia, Africa, Europe and the US.
“The two companies have combined resources into one network to provide high speed data connectivity to 325 cities across the world through 370 Points of Presence (PoP). This will form one of the largest Internet Protocol Virtual Private Networks (IP VPN) globally,” Bharti Airtel said in a release. LINK
At 12:25 PM, a combined 1.51 million equity shares changed hands on the counter on the NSE and BSE.
