Bhel gains on bagging order from NTPC

The order is for supply and installation of ESP package for 2x660MW Solapur Supercritical Thermal Power Project

Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited (BHEL) is trading higher by 2.3% at Rs 211 on winning contact from the state-owned company NTPC for supply and installation of Electrostatic Precipitator (ESP) package for 2x660MW Solapur Supercritical Thermal Power Project. However, financial details of the contract have not been disclosed by the company.

“The scope of work in the contract involves design, engineering, manufacture, supply and erection & commissioning of the complete Electrostatic Precipitator package,” Bhel said in a press release.

A combined 1.5 million shares have changed hands on the counter so far on both the exchanges.
