Bhel has advanced 6.4% to Rs 1,382. Ranbaxy is up 4.7% to Rs 560. Bharti and Jaiprakash Associates have gained 4.6% to Rs 777 and Rs 177, respectively.
Reliance Infra has gained 3.7% to Rs 1,011. HDFC and NTPC are up 3.5% to Rs 2,101 and Rs 161. HDFC Bank, L&T, Ambuja Cements, SBI, TCS, Cipla, Infosys and Tata Steel are the other gainers.
Hindustan Unilever is down 1.6% to Rs 234 and ITC has lost 0.8% to Rs 201. Reliance Communications has declined 0.3% to Rs 550.
