Black pepper prices edged up further at the spices market here today due to persistent demand from the retailers amid poor arrivals. Meanwhile, copra edible Mumbai eased on lower stockists offtake on the back of increased supplies.
Other spices ruled steady in the absence any worthwhile buying activity. Black pepper moved up further by Rs 3/2 per kilo to Rs 190/205 from last Saturday's closing level of Rs 187/203.
However, Copra edible mumbai declined by Rs 25 per quintal to Rs 4,250 from Rs 4,275 previously.
