Bombay Dyeing jumps 6% on robust Q4 numbers

Bombay Dyeing and Manufacturing Company  is one of the biggest gainers on S&P BSE 500, reporting a jump of 5.68%, quoting at Rs 76.05.

The giant textile manufacturer reported 31.33% jump in net profit at Rs 207.25 crore for the fourth quarter dated March 31, 2014. Previous year, the company had recorded a net profit of Rs 157.8 crore for the same period. Net sales of the company maintain at Rs 1,126.25 crore for the quarter, rise of 33.26% as compared to Rs 845.1 crore for the same time span last year.

The stock opened at Rs 75.55 on BSE. Over 1,706,214 shares were traded on both the stock exchanges so far.
