Tea stocks have seen some movement in the last three months on the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE). The scrip of the Goodricke group is down 1.08 per cent from its closing at the beginning of October. Today it ended at Rs 27.35, on the BSE.
Tata Tea, which ended the day at Rs 168.80, is up 8.97 per cent from the beginning of October. Godrej Consumer products ended the day today at Rs 99.65 and it has fallen over 11 per cent in the same duration.
Hindustan Lever or HLL has appreciated over 5.50 and ended the day at Rs 178.05 on the BSE today. Assam Company , which has fallen 8.15 per cent since the beginning of October , ended the day today at Rs 16.90.

Warren Tea, a producer, was also down by over 24 per cent, ended the day at Rs 41.50 for the same period.
The recent marketing order is expected to put buyers at tea auctions under some pressure as it imposes several conditionalities on them. However, manufacturers and tea growers appeared to be indifferent.
