Brooks Laboratories is locked at upper circuit of 20% at Rs 122 on the National Stock Exchange (NSE) on the back of heavy volumes after the company said it has got manufacturing license for its new manufacturing facility at Vadodra in Gujarat.
“The company's new manufacturing facility at Vadodra, Gujarat has been granted with manufacturing licence from Commissioner of Food & Drugs Control Administration, Gandhinagar, for manufacture of pharmaceutical products,” Brooks Laboratories said in a regulatory filing.
The manufacturing licence is valid for the period of 5 years from August 16, 2016 to August 15, 2021, it added.
Till 02:20 pm, a combined 2.84 million shares change hands and there were pending buy orders for 149,376 shares on the BSE and NSE.
