BSE derivatives trading volume hits Rs 1,300 cr

The derivatives trading volume on the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) today crossed the Rs 1,300 crore mark.

The volume of derivatives trading touched Rs 1,359.69 crore with 50,877 contracts traded on Friday, the BSE said in a statement here.

The Index futures registered Rs 1,034.61 crore turnover, with 39,862 contracts traded on the exchange.

Among others, Index Option (call) registered a turnover of Rs 77.02 crore, Index Option (Put) Rs 138.09 crore and equity future Rs 77.59 crore, the release said.
