BSE imposes 10-day trading ban on 5 SMEs

These will, however, continue to be a part of S&P BSE SME IPO index

BSE on Thursday issued temporary suspension of trading in five small and medium enterprises (SMEs) listed on the BSE SME IPO index for a period of ten days starting Aug 10.

GCM Securities, Channel Nine Entertainment, Eco Friendly Food Processing, Esteem Bio Organic Food Processing and HPC Biosciences are the companies that are facing temporary suspension from trading between Aug 10 and Aug 21, 2015.

These companies will, however, continue to be a part of the S&P BSE SME IPO index, a statement from the exchange said. These companies do not feature on any of the other S&P BSE indices.
