BSE Institute to promote financial awareness

Financial training institute BSE Institute Ltd (BIL), a subsidiary of Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) opened a training centre in Pune to cater to the students willing to make it big in the Indian financial sector.

Pune is the latest to host BSE Institute Ltd.’s training centers spread across Mumbai, Delhi, Ahmedabad, Chennai and Kolkata.

The centre initially will offer specialised training in financial markets through short-term courses and certification programmes. 

From imparting knowledge about the basics of stock markets and financial products to MBA in finance, BSE Institute Ltd offers customized learning backed with case studies replicating actual business situations to young financial aspirants and professionals from BFSI sector as well as media.  

 

Commenting on the inauguration, Ambarish Datta, MD&CEO, BSE Institute Ltd. said,"Only 2 per cent of India’s participated in capital market. BSE’s aim is to create more professionals for the financial market and increase financial literacy at large. However, there was no one offering specialized and high-end courses in finance and financial markets. Hence, we are launching our center in Pune to help the students of this city seek careers in Financial Markets. Since this a dynamic fast evolving field, we are confident that the students of Pune will be eager to build a career in financial markets by doing courses with the BSE Institute.”

He added, “As the global environment of financial markets becomes more complex, there is further pressure on professionals, operators, brokers, traders, employees of the banking, insurance and other financial institutions in the industry, including compliance professionals - making it imperative for aspirants to study the products, markets and the mathematics that explain it.”
