The Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) has announced it has solved 549 complaints, including those brought forward from previous periods and 492 received in July.
A total of 492 complaints were brought against 277 listed companies in July, while the exchange resolved 549 complaints against 214 firms, the BSE said in a release.
The exchange received most number of complaints (166) on non-receipt of annual reports. It received 128 complaints for non-receipt of refund order and 111 complaints on non-receipt of share or debenture certificates after a bonus issue.
The least number of complaints were on non-receipt of credit with depository participants which was at 35, followed by non-receipt of dividend totalling 52 complaints.
During the month, the BSE resolved 177 complaints on non-receipt of annual reports and that of non-receipt of refund orders totalled 176.
Further the exchange has suspended trading in securities of 10 companies in the Z groups, against which highest number of complaints are pending, it said.
Companies against which highest number of complaints were pending as on July 31 included Vatsa Corporations (1,046), followed by Pentafour Products (263) and Pal-Peugeot (258).
