<b>Budget 2008: </b> Sensex down 99pts

The Sensex is now down 99 points at 17,726.

The NSE Nifty is down 34 points at 5,251.

Wipro has shed 2.3% at Rs 436, and Hindalco has plunged 2% to Rs 200.

ICICI Bank and Bharti Airtel have dropped 1.8% each to Rs 1,084 and Rs 829, respectively.

Tata Motors has slipped 1.5% to Rs 700. Tata Steel and ACC are down 1% each at Rs 814 and Rs 800, respectively.

ITC has gained 1.5% at Rs 205, and Bajaj Auto has added 1% to Rs 2,243.
