Buying continues; Sensex up 386pts

The Sensex is now up 386 points at 10,394.

Reliance Communications, ICICI Bank and SBI have surged around 6% each to Rs 253, Rs 494 and Rs 730, respectively.

Tata Motors, Hindalco, Tata Steel, HDFC Bank, Reliance Energy, Ranbaxy and Gujarat Ambuja are up over 5% each.

Out of 2,352 stocks traded so far, 1,393 have advanced, 884 have declined and 75 are unchanged.
