Cardamom climbs 1.9% on rising demand

Restricted arrivals from producing belts supported the trade

Cardamom futures for February climbed by Rs 19, or 1.93%, to Rs 1,004.80 per kg in 470 lots.

At the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX), the March contract moved up by Rs 11.40, or 1.1%, to Rs 1,045 per kg in 855 lots.

Rising spot market deamnds for the ongoing marriage season, restricted arrivals from producing belts supported the trade.
