Cardamom rise 0.2% on increased demand

According to analysts limited arrivals from producing region mainly influenced cardamom prices at futures trade

Cardamom prices rose by Rs 2 to Rs 784,50 per kg in futures trading today due to increased demand in the spot market against limited arrivals from producing region.

At the Multi Commodity Exchange, cardamom for delivery in July moved up by Rs 2, or 0.26%, to Rs 784.50 per kg in business turnover of 469 lots.

Similarly, cardamom for delivery in August edged up by Rs 1.80, or 0.23%, to Rs 800 per kg in 94 lots.

Analysts said besides increased demand in the spot market, limited arrivals from producing region mainly influenced cardamom prices at futures trade.
