Cardamom rises 0.6% on spot demand

Prices rose as speculators created fresh positions driven by pick-up in spot market demand

Cardamom futures for March rose by Rs 5.40, or 0.55%, to Rs 981 per kg in 1,196 lots.

At the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX), the April contract gained Rs 3.30, or 0.33%, to Rs 1,017.90 per kg in 159 lots.

Prices rose as speculators created fresh positions driven by pick-up in spot market demand.
