Cardamom prices up by 0.43% to Rs 799.20 per kg in futures trade today mostly supported by rise in demand at the spot market against restricted supplies from producing regions.
At the Multi Commodity Exchange, cardamom for delivery in October rose by Rs 3.40, or 0,43% to Rs 799.20 per kg in business turnover of 98 lots.
Similarly, cardamom for delivery in September traded marginally up by 20 paise, or 0.03% to Rs 766 per kg in 214 lots.
Market analysts attributed the rise in cardamom futures to pick up in demand at the spot market against restricted supplies from producing regions.
