Cardamom up 0.5% on spot demand

Restricted arrivals from producing regions supported the trade

Cardamom futures for March rose by Rs 5.40, or 0.5%, to Rs 1,080.70 per kg in 38 lots.

At the Multi Commodity Exchange, the February contract edged up by Rs 4.60, or 0.44%, to Rs 1,039.40 per kg in 412 lots.

Pick-up in domestic demand supported the trade.

Speculators enlarging their positions also helped cardamom futures.
