Cardamom up 0.6% on spot demand

Prices rose largely in tandem with firming spot markets trend

Cardamom futures for May surged Rs 5.40, or 0.60%, to Rs 903.90 per kg in 161 lots.

On the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX), the April contract gained Rs 3.80, or 0.43%, to Rs 885.40 per kg in 616 lots.

Prices rose largely in tandem with firming spot markets trend on pick-up in demand amid restricted arrivals.
