Cashew prices rose by Rs 5 per kg in today, largely on pick up in fresh buying on firm domestic demand due to marriage season.
Tight supplies from growing regions also supported the uptrend in prices.
Cashew kernel No 180, No 210, No 240 and No 320 rose by Rs 5 to settle at Rs 625-665 Rs 595-605, Rs 535-545 and Rs 435-505 per kg, respectively.
Marketmen said increased buying by retailers and stockists against tight supplies from growing regions pushed up cashew prices.
