Cashew prices rose by up to Rs 10 per kg in the national capital today largely on the back of fresh buying by retailers and stockists amid low stocks.
Tight supplies from growing regions and strong domestic and overseas enquiries also supported the upside in prices.
Cashew kernel No 210 and 240 rose by up to Rs 10 each to conclude at Rs 640-660 and Rs 600-630 per kg, respectively.
Market analysts said fresh buying by retailers and stockists against tight supplies from producing belts mainly pushed up cashew prices in the wholesale dry fruit market here.
