Castrol India will now replace Reliance MediaWorks (RML) in the S&P BSE 500 index with effect from April 29, 2014 following RML's delisting from the exchanges. The company will also be excluded from the BSE Small-Cap index.
Reliance MediaWorks had earlier this year received the company board approval to delist after the two promoter group entities offered to buy additional 26.7% stake in the company. The company will delist on April 29, 2014 following which it will be removed from both the S&P BSE 500 and BSE small-cap index.
While Castrol replaces RML in the BSE 500 index, no replacement has been announced in the BSE small-cap index.
