Caustic soda falls on reduced offtake

Caustic soda prices fell by Rs 50 per 50 kg in the national capital today on stockists selling coupled with reduced offtake by consuming industries.

Increased arrivals from producing regions also put pressure on the prices. Caustic soda flake fell by Rs 50 to Rs 900-950 per 50 kg.

Traders said subdued demand from consuming industries against increased arrivals from the producing belts mainly pulled down caustic soda prices.
