Caustic soda prices fell by Rs 100 per 50 kg in the national capital today following reduced offtake against adequate supply.
Caustic soda flake fell by Rs 100 to Rs 1,400-1,500 per 50 kg.
Traders said reduced offtake by consuming industries against increased arrivals from producing belts mainly pulled down caustic soda prices in the wholesale chemical market here.
Elsewhere, prices of other chemicals ruled steady on scattered deals.
