Caustic soda prices rose by Rs 50 per 50 kg in the national capital today largely influenced by buying support from detergent and other consuming units.
Caustic soda flake rose by Rs 50 to conclude at Rs 1,400-1,500 per 50 kg.
Traders said fresh demand from detergent and other consuming units against tight supplies from producing belts mainly pushed up caustic soda prices on the wholesale chemical market.
