Chana prices fell by Rs 58 to Rs 3,576 per quintal in the futures trade today as speculators indulged in booking profits at existing higher levels against adequate stocks position.

At the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange, November chana fell by Rs 58, or 1.60% to Rs 3,576 per quintal in a business volume of 167,540 lots.

The October contract moved down by Rs 56, or 1.59% to Rs 3,474 per quintal in 227,080 lots.

Traders said profit-bookings by speculators at existing higher levels against adequate stocks position mainly pulled down chana futures prices.
