Chana prices fell further by Rs 14 to Rs 3,327 per quintal in futures trading today due to sluggish demand against adequate supplies.
At the National Commodity and Derivative Exchange, chana for delivery in January shed Rs 14, or 0.42%, to Rs 3,327 per quintal, with an open interest of 126,160 lots.
The February contract lost Rs 7, or 0.21%, to Rs 3,283 per quintal, with an open interest of 56,630 lots.
Traders said apart from a weak spot market trend on sluggish demand, adequate stocks availability in the market mainly kept pressure on chana futures prices.
