Chana up 0.4% on high buying activity

Traders enlarging their holdings due to good demand supprted the trade

Chana futures for January rose by Rs 16, or 0.4%, to Rs 3,970 per quintal in 12,470 lots.

At the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange, the April contract went up by Rs 15, or 0.42%, to Rs 3,540 per quintal in 67,030 lots.

Traders enlarging their holdings due to good demand supprted the trade.

Restricted arrivals triggered the uptrend.
