Chana futures for January fell by Rs 25, or 0.62%, to Rs 3,965 per quintal in 16,400 lots.

At the National Commodity and Derivative Exchange, the April contract declined Rs 4, or 0.11%, to Rs 3,488 per quintal in 72,760 lots.

Profit-bookings by speculators, a weak spot market trend on subdued demand affected the trade.
