Red chilli and jeera prices rose by up to Rs 200 per quintal in the national capital today on the back of firm local demand and hopes of pick-up in overseas enquiries.
Red chilli prices rose by Rs 100 to conclude at Rs 9,500-13,200 per quintal.
Jeera common and jeera best quality also rose further by Rs 200 each to settled at Rs 15,000-15,200 and Rs 17,200-17,300 per quintal due to local demand and hopes of a pick-up in overseas enquiries.
