Red chilli and pepper prices rose by up to Rs 200 per quintal in the national capital today on the back of local demand and hopes of a pick-up in overseas enquiries.

Red chilli prices rose by Rs 100 to conclude at Rs 9,600-13,600 per quintal. Black pepper also traded higher at Rs 29,200-29,700 against previous closing of Rs 29,000-29,500 per quintal.
