Chilli up 1.42% on pick-up in demand

Chilli futures for March month rose by Rs 94, or 1.42% to Rs 6,706 per quintal in 6,350 lots.

At the National Commodity and Derivative Exchange, the April edged up by Rs 32, or 0.47% to Rs 6,822 per quintal in 5,795 lots.

Pick-up in spot demand against restricted arrivals from producing region suopported the trade.
