Citric acid declines on lack of buying

Citric acid prices fell up to Rs 100 per 50 kg in the national capital today largely due to by lack of demand from consuming units amid adequate stocks.

Increased arrivals from overseas market also put pressure on the prices.

Citric acid-China prices fell in the range of Rs 50-100 to conclude at Rs 3,000-3,400 per 50 kg.

Marketmen said reduced offtake by consuming units against increased arrivals from overseas market, mainly put pressure on the prices.
